The Functional Outdoor Resilience Training (FORT) Camp this June was another success. Thank you to all the boys that came out. We had a great time with you and we hope you had a good time as well. See you next year!

Daily Mass was a great way to start the day

The school could be seen from base camp

The boys loved sleeping high up in the trees

The inside of the wall tent. Not a bad place to sleep!

Finn climbs the infamous rope as the school peeks through the trees

When the boys hiked to the bivouac site they had to build shelters using knots they learned

The boys prayed the Rosary as they hiked back form the bivouac site

Some of the boys getting creative with their problem solving

Mr. Taylor, a skilled archer, gave the boys pointers to help them improve

Cedric looks on as Mr. Kerr teaches him how to properly skin a rabbit

Jack was a natural rabbit skinner

Mr. Macik taught some of the boys how to make bread while camping

Ready.

Aim.

Fire.

These boys worked together as a team to successfully start a fire under a barrage of water balloons

The boys learned the fireman carry under the instruction of Mr. Whalen

Mr. Whalen looks on, impressed with the boys’ effort

Some of the boys even found it fun!

The boys hustling to the next station during the F.O.R.T competition

Using teamwork to get their injured team member over the log wall

They had to stay patient and use what they learn throughout the week to successfully get through the obstacle course

A nice break after a week of hard work

The boys enjoyed the music that Mr. Kerr and Mr. Whalen played during the banquet
